Dream of the future and write
a short story about it.
I believe that human beings are capable of immense good, and it is within our power to change our past mistakes.
“I think we have to design or look ahead and dream of a future and then we get on with making it happen.” — David Suzuki
When I saw David Suzuki interviewed on the Australian TV show, “Can We Help” in February this year (2011), I thought about his words for a long time and came up with the idea for this competition.

So do we email our entries to you? I might be entering… If I have any time:)
Hi Smilee, yes, send the story as an attachment and go to the Entry Form page, then cut and paste the entry form into the body of the email. Look forward to hearing from you.
Ooh! It’s YOUR competition!! I read that post this morning while I was running late for work. LOL. Now that I’m rereading it, I see what you’re doing. What a great idea.
Thanks soozling, so will you be sending in a story?
Possibly. If I can think of a good one. 🙂
Ooo! Will you be entering? Maybe it’ll be world ruled by cats!
Maybe it will — Cat humanoids who keep us as pets? What would they do about global warming? I won’t be entering, it’s my competition, but I am really going to have some fun helping judge the entries and seeing the winners published on my web site.
